Trackline Terms of Service
Last updated: October 24, 2026
Key points (summary only; the full Terms below control)
- Trackline is a free directory of motorsport events (track days, HPDEs, autocross, and similar). We collect event listings from organizer websites and link you to them.
- We don't run events, and we don't handle registration or payment. You register and pay on the organizer's site, under the organizer's terms. Refunds, waivers, cancellations, and event rules are between you and the organizer.
- Event details can be wrong, outdated, or cancelled. Always confirm dates, prices, requirements, and rules with the organizer before you rely on them.
- Motorsport is dangerous. It can cause serious injury, death, and property damage. You are responsible for your own safety, vehicle, insurance, licensing, and compliance with the organizer's rules. Trackline gives no safety or driving advice.
- Trackline is not affiliated with or endorsed by any event organizer, sanctioning body, or track.
- You must be at least 13 to use Trackline, and under-18s need a parent's or guardian's permission.
- Don't scrape, abuse, or reverse engineer Trackline.
- The service is provided "as is," and our liability is limited (see Sections 16 and 17).
- Wyoming law applies. If you have a problem, contact us first at support@tracklinehq.com so we can try to fix it.
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Trackline LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Trackline," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of the Trackline website at https://tracklinehq.com, the Trackline iOS app (the "App"), and any related services we provide (together, the "Service").
Our Privacy Policy, available at tracklinehq.com/privacy and in the App, explains how we handle personal information and is part of these Terms.
2. Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account, or by accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
- Age. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live), you may use the Service only with the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use.
- Not for children. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account, we will delete it.
- Legal capacity. You represent that you are legally able to enter into these Terms and that you are not barred from using the Service under any applicable law.
Note that minimum ages for actually participating in motorsport events are set by each organizer and are often higher than 13. Being able to use Trackline does not mean you are eligible to attend or drive at any event.
3. Accounts and security
You can browse many parts of the Service without an account. Some features, such as saving events, require one.
- You register with an email address, a password, and a display name, which can be any name or nickname. You can't edit your display name in the App or on the website yet; to change it, contact support@tracklinehq.com.
- There is no self-serve password reset. If you forget your password, contact support@tracklinehq.com from the email address on your account.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password confidential and don't share your account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- Tell us promptly at support@tracklinehq.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
- Don't choose a display name that impersonates someone else, is offensive, or infringes someone's rights. We may change or remove display names that break this rule.
4. What Trackline is (and isn't)
Trackline is an informational directory that helps you discover motorsport events, including track days, high-performance driver education (HPDE) events, autocross, and similar activities. Features include event search, nearby ranking based on a location you choose to share or enter, saved events, Add to Calendar, and Share. The App displays the Trackline service and adds device features: location for nearby search, Share, and Add to Calendar.
Trackline is not an event organizer, promoter, sanctioning body, ticket seller, booking agent, or payment processor. We do not run, supervise, insure, inspect, or sanction any event, track, vehicle, or participant. When you tap through to view or register for an event, you go to the organizer's own website. In the App, organizer pages open in an in-app Safari view, but they are still third-party sites, not part of Trackline.
5. Third-party event information
Event listings on Trackline are gathered from publicly available organizer sources, such as MotorsportReg, SCCA, NASA, and club websites, drawn from a list of sources we select.
- Provided as is. Event information comes from third parties and is provided "as is." It may be incomplete, inaccurate, out of date, or changed or cancelled after we collect it. We don't guarantee that any listing is correct or that any event will take place.
- Prices and fees. Prices, fees, and discounts are set by each organizer and may change. Where we can't show a reliable price, we display "Price on site." The price shown on the organizer's site at the time you register controls.
- Verify before you rely. Before you register, travel, pay, or prepare a vehicle, confirm all details (date, time, location, price, run groups, experience requirements, vehicle and safety-equipment requirements, and cancellation and refund policies) directly with the organizer.
- Corrections. If you spot an error, or you are an organizer and want a listing corrected or removed, contact support@tracklinehq.com. We may correct or remove listings at our discretion.
6. No affiliation or endorsement
Trackline is not affiliated with or endorsed by any event organizer, sanctioning body, or track. Unless we expressly say otherwise, Trackline is also not sponsored by any event organizer, club, sanctioning body, registration platform, or track, including MotorsportReg, SCCA, NASA, or Precision Track Day. Organizer, venue, and platform names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used on Trackline only to identify events and their sources. Listing an event or organizer is not a recommendation or endorsement of that event, organizer, venue, or its safety.
7. Registrations, payments, and events are between you and the organizer
Trackline is not a party to any transaction or relationship between you and an organizer. In particular:
- Registration and payment take place entirely on the organizer's (or its registration platform's) site, under its terms and privacy policy. Trackline never receives or processes your payment information.
- Refunds, cancellations, transfers, and credits are handled solely by the organizer under its policies.
- Waivers, releases, and participant agreements are between you and the organizer (and anyone else they name). Trackline does not draft, collect, or enforce them.
- Event conduct, including safety procedures, tech inspection, instruction, run-group placement, track rules, and the behavior of other participants, is the responsibility of the organizer and participants, not Trackline.
Any dispute about an event, registration, payment, or refund must be taken up with the organizer.
8. MOTORSPORT ASSUMPTION OF RISK
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.
MOTORSPORT ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING TRACK DAYS, HPDE EVENTS, AUTOCROSS, TIME TRIALS, RACING, AND RELATED ACTIVITIES, ARE INHERENTLY DANGEROUS. They involve high speeds, mechanical failure, collisions, fire, weather and track conditions, and the actions of other drivers, instructors, officials, and spectators. These risks can result in SERIOUS BODILY INJURY, PERMANENT DISABILITY, DEATH, AND DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF VEHICLES AND OTHER PROPERTY, whether you are driving, riding as a passenger, instructing, working, or spectating.
If you choose to attend or take part in any event you find through Trackline, you do so voluntarily and at your own risk. You alone are responsible for:
- your own safety and the safety of anyone you bring;
- deciding whether an event is suitable for your experience, skill, health, and vehicle;
- the condition, preparation, and safety equipment of your vehicle, and for meeting the organizer's tech-inspection requirements;
- having appropriate insurance (many street auto policies exclude track use), and any required driver's license, competition license, or membership;
- reading, understanding, and complying with the organizer's rules, instructions, and any waiver or release you sign.
TRACKLINE DOES NOT PROVIDE SAFETY, DRIVING, VEHICLE, OR SKILL ADVICE, and nothing in the Service (including event descriptions, skill-level labels, or "nearby" rankings) is a statement that an event, organizer, venue, or activity is safe or suitable for you. Trackline does not inspect, vet, or monitor organizers, venues, instructors, or participants.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU ASSUME ALL RISKS ARISING FROM YOUR ATTENDANCE AT OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY EVENT, AND YOU AGREE THAT TRACKLINE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURY, DEATH, LOSS, OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM ANY EVENT OR ACTIVITY YOU FIND THROUGH THE SERVICE.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to help anyone else to:
- scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, or copy content or data from the Service, or build a competing database or service from it, whether manually or by automated means;
- access or use the Service by automated means (bots, scripts, crawlers, or similar), except through any public interface we expressly permit in writing, and except for standard search-engine indexing of our public web pages consistent with our robots.txt;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or try to derive the source code of the App or Service, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits this despite this restriction;
- interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service, or bypass rate limits, security features, or access controls;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission (if you find a security issue, please report it to support@tracklinehq.com);
- access another person's account, or create accounts by automated means or under false pretenses;
- use the Service to harass anyone, send spam, or violate any law or anyone's rights;
- copy, frame, resell, or commercially exploit the Service except as these Terms allow.
We may investigate violations and take appropriate action, including blocking access and limiting requests.
10. Intellectual property and your license
Our property. The Service, including the App, software, design, text, graphics, logos, the "Trackline" name, and our selection, arrangement, and compilation of event information, is owned by Trackline or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Facts about events, and content owned by organizers, remain with their respective owners; we claim no ownership of them.
Your license. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purpose of finding motorsport events. For the App, this license is further limited as described in Section 12. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
11. Third-party links and services
The Service links to third-party websites and services, including organizer and registration sites (which in the App open in an in-app Safari view, where you can follow links to other sites), and calendar and sharing tools on your device. We don't control and are not responsible for third-party sites or services, their content, their availability, or their privacy and security practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
12. Apple App Store terms
This Section applies if you download or use the App from the Apple App Store. If it conflicts with the rest of these Terms, this Section controls as to the App.
- Acknowledgement. These Terms are concluded between you and Trackline only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Trackline, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
- Scope of license. Your license to use the App is a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the App may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
- Maintenance and support. Trackline is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the App, as described in these Terms or as required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services for the App.
- Warranty. Trackline is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App to you. The App is free, so no purchase price applies. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be Trackline's sole responsibility, to the extent not disclaimed by these Terms.
- Product claims. Trackline, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and use of it, including: (a) product liability claims; (b) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (c) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation. These Terms do not limit Trackline's liability to you beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
- Intellectual property claims. If a third party claims that the App or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Trackline, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (a) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (b) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You also agree to comply with all applicable U.S. export control and sanctions laws.
- Developer name and address. Questions, complaints, or claims about the App should be directed to: Trackline LLC, 1603 Capitol Ave Ste 415 #191885, Cheyenne, WY 82001; support@tracklinehq.com.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App (for example, your wireless data service agreement).
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
13. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
Trackline respects intellectual property rights and expects users and organizers to do the same. If you believe that material available through the Service infringes your copyright, you may send a notification of claimed infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512, to our designated Copyright Agent:
Copyright Agent
Trackline LLC
1603 Capitol Ave Ste 415 #191885
Cheyenne, WY 82001
Phone: 800-417-0462
Email: support@tracklinehq.com
Your notice should include substantially the following (see 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of those works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate the material (for example, the URL of the listing or page).
- Information reasonably sufficient for us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
We may remove or disable access to material claimed to be infringing and, where appropriate, terminate accounts of repeat infringers. If we remove material you submitted, we may notify you and, where required by law, provide a way for you to send a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Only copyright notices should be sent to the Copyright Agent; other support requests go to support@tracklinehq.com as usual.
This Section is intended to comply with the designated-agent requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2) and 37 C.F.R. § 201.38. The agent information above matches our designation in the U.S. Copyright Office's DMCA Designated Agent Directory.
14. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time. Sign in to the App or at https://tracklinehq.com (the steps are the same in both), go to Manage Account > Delete account, enter your password, and tap Delete my account. Deleting your account removes your user record and saved events, as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your Trackline account does not cancel, change, or refund any registration you made with an organizer. Contact the organizer directly for that.
15. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Service, or delete your account, at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if needed to protect the Service or others, or if we discontinue the Service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the Service as a whole at any time.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 5 through 8, 10, 11, and 16 through 23.
16. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL EVENT INFORMATION, IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRACKLINE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE ABOVE, TRACKLINE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) ANY EVENT INFORMATION, PRICE, OR LISTING IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT; (B) ANY EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE AS LISTED OR AT ALL; (C) ANY ORGANIZER, VENUE, OR EVENT IS SAFE, LAWFUL, OR SUITABLE FOR YOU; OR (D) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THESE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- TRACKLINE AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
- TRACKLINE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER LOSS ARISING FROM ANY EVENT, ACTIVITY, ORGANIZER, VENUE, REGISTRATION, PAYMENT, OR REFUND, OR FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY EVENT INFORMATION SHOWN IN THE SERVICE.
- TRACKLINE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TRACKLINE FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50).
THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY TO ALL THEORIES OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE) AND EVEN IF A LIMITED REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO SOME OF THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
18. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Trackline and its members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use or misuse of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right; or (c) your attendance at or participation in any event, including any dispute with an organizer or other participant. We may take over the defense of any matter at our own expense, and you will cooperate with us.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect, for example by posting a notice in the App or on the website. Changes will not apply retroactively. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
20. Informal dispute resolution
Most concerns can be resolved quickly. Before filing any claim against Trackline, you agree to first contact us at support@tracklinehq.com (or by mail at the address in Section 23) with your name, your account email (if any), a description of the issue, and the resolution you want. We will try in good faith to resolve it with you informally. If we can't resolve it within 60 days after we receive your notice, either of us may proceed under Section 21. Trackline will follow the same process before bringing a claim against you. This step does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief to stop unauthorized use or abuse of the Service, or from bringing an individual claim in small claims court.
21. Governing law and venue
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Subject to Section 20, any such dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Laramie County, Wyoming, and you and Trackline consent to the personal jurisdiction of and venue in those courts. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in a small claims court of competent jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of any consumer protection under the laws of the state where you live that cannot be waived by agreement.
22. General terms
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any terms we present for specific features, are the entire agreement between you and Trackline about the Service and supersede any prior agreements on that subject.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- Notices. We may give you notices through the Service, for example by a notice in the App or on the website. You may give us notices at the contact details below.
- Headings and summary. Headings and the "Key points" summary are for convenience only and do not affect how these Terms are interpreted.
